Welcome!

Hi and welcome!

I am the theme park consultant for many of the themed areas found throughout Southern California. I have visited plenty of these locations and have been looking for an outlet to share my ideas for local parks, theme parks, and amusement enterprises to better situate themselves. Sometimes, when working in the inside of these organizations, it can be hard to get a fresh pair of eyes to better improve the location. That is why I would like to share my ideas with you based on my experience.

I like to evaluate the three main things any amusement enterprise has. First, are the attractions. These are of course the big draws for the guests. This may include the rides but also the character experiences, special events, and local guests. Secondly are the merchandise locations. Now that the guests have experienced their favorite attractions, they can bring home tangible memories of their visit through souvenirs. The stores should compliment the attraction themselves. Lastly, are the food locations. What better way to immerse yourself in the environment created than trying the local flavor. That's is one of the reasons people visit such real exotic locations in the first place!

So each of these three main can be evaluated on the core principles of courtesy, efficiency, and show. I have explained and defined these three items on the sidebar column.

Instead of recommendations of improvements to a location, I would want to share some IDEAS about how to better improve a given location. These ideas are based of my experience from visiting these local sites. You may implement them if you choose, and I sure hope you eventually will!
